I don%26#039;t need the contrast on my computer up all the way, so I turned it down to about... 44%. Will this help with how much energy the computer is using?

not at all the contrast isn%26#039;t run on the energy the computer is using, its basically a state in which you change the tones of your picture which is run from the lights at the back of the screen, it won%26#039;t save energyOther Answers (2)

Not as much as turing it off. Don%26#039;t you want to save all the energy you can? Or do you just want to save a little and not inconvenience yourself?

No the contrast doesn%26#039;t have anything to do with power consumption. the brightness would though
