Can paper towels (used) be put into a vermi-composting bin? Just curious.

  • I think it depends what you%26#039;re using it for. It%26#039;s processed with bleach and other chemicals and I for one wouldn%26#039;t use the compost around vegetables and fruit trees, but in the north forty it would probably be fine.

    I don%26#039;t think it would hurt the worms in the long run. But in any case, I switched over to clothe napkins awhile back. But I do toss my unbleached coffee filters in my compost bin along with the grounds.
