Can you put shredded paper in compostable bin? i have a huge stack of shredded paper and i wanted to know if you could put it in compostable bins?.... ( and not recycling bins)

Yes, especially if you have worms in it then you can dump the whole container in. If you don%26#039;t have worms, buy a contaiiner of live ones at a local aquarium store. They will speed up composting like crazy! 100% 1 Vote

  • Paper is woefully lacking in usable nitrogen. Your composting bugs, be they bacteria or worms, need something else to supplement their diet. Layer the paper with more biologically active materials (something that rots) keep it damp, and mix it up every once in a while. 0% 0 Votes
