Carbon credits. I tried to get them.? I contacted a Carbon credit Org. about 50 Acres of land I have. I decided I would let someone plant trees and vegitation on it since I was told thats what these charities do. they told me they would give me about $200 dollars to plant them and i would need to sign the land over to them or get it listed as a reserve. I felt like they just gave me the finger. $200 would get me about 4 trees and I would need about 200-300. Has anyone had luck with these organizations or is it just a sham? I%26#039;ve had friends that give money to these organizations and their the ones that told me to do this. O.K., I fell for it, but has anyone had any luck or got anything out of these organizations?

Just another part of the global warming scam. It%26#039;s a way for people to feel better about themselves while still polluting or using way more energy than the average person. Gore does this. He uses 25 times more energy than the average person and then pays his own carbon credit companies so he can say he%26#039;s environmentally conscious. What a tool !!

Think of it like %26quot;indulgences%26quot; from the Catholic church of old. Rich people could buy away their sins by contributing to the church. This is no different. Global warming is a religion too and you can pay for your sins by buying carbon credits.

Dude, get your posse together and take it on yourself! Contact your local Dept of Natural Resources or Park District for advice on how to restore the land. This is a project worth doing! Update your will so that the land will go to the Nature Conservancy or other land conservation organization of your choice after you%26#039;re gone. www.nature.org
