I haven%26#039;t heard the song, but people have been urging us to do that for a long time. It%26#039;s not that we don%26#039;t want to do things %26quot;right%26quot;, it%26#039;s just that making ourselves do them is too hard for a lot of people.It%26#039;s like starting an exercise program. One might know they%26#039;d be better off working out 5 times a week, but there are just so many easier alternatives. They won%26#039;t start until something happens that makes them start, like high blood pressure, or chest pain.
Succeeding is easy. Getting people to try is the hard part.

I can only agree with Kewless
Two specific points have to be improved:
- the knowledge of good hard sciences such as mathematics, physics, chemistry, etc.
- the other one is the %26quot;media literacy%26quot;. In a country where so many people believe urban legends, there is a real problem. In a country where the opinion of ultra-conservative blogs is more read and regarded as the expert judgment of MIT post-doc and is even thought as representative of their carefully worded statements, there is a problem. -
The word is out and people know what to do. The best way to motivate people is threw reward and punishment. Different people have different ideas on what should be done and how to do it. Stricter laws and more enforcement would be needed but many do not want the government that involved in their life, my self included. As time passes and green living will get more common. Much has happened and it will continue, maybe not at the pace that some would want but things are changing.
