If we were using cell phones to accomplish things without going there, they may even be reducing our footprint. But we see a lot of cell communication that does not appear to fit that description.Does that mean we are getting too little savings in travel costs, or just lots of idle chatter over and above any savings on travel?
We should keep on our mind new technologies to see if they may be causing harm. But we may be unwilling to give up cell phones even if they are a major problem, unless the problem hits the user, directly, and severely.

Cell phone towers don%26#039;t take up much land or a huge amount of electricity. If they are recycled the impact is minimal.
