Do you have an alternative to using Freecycle? I do....? I have gotten so tired of the local freecycle groups in my area that I started my own Green Reuseable site that gets back to the very reason for them, to be globally correct about what should be recycled when it can be. My site covers Pierce County, Washington state.

Anyone else out there creating their own reuseables group? If so promote them here or tell me your problems with other sites you have tried.

Thanks!

This is great! I so happy to hear that you are doing this.
I use Freecycle in my area. I wish I could trade items though. I think it would be cool to say, I have a ........ and would like to trade it for ..........or ............ . I would feel that this would be a win , win situation . Anyway, that is my idea.
Good Luck with your new group. 67% 2 Votes

  • craigslist.com has a section for free items 33% 1 Vote
  • I also like to use the free section on Craigslist because it is much easier to search than Freecycle. When I have something to post I will use either, but I think what you are doing is a great alternative. 0% 0 Votes
