Do you use reusable bags, and what for? I just ordered some reusable bags to use for when I go grocery shopping. I%26#039;m also thinking about using them for regular shopping at the mall, petstore, etc. Are there any places that don%26#039;t let you bring your own bag?

yes, the world is still intolerant. there are stores that i have found, especially in mall department stores, that will not let you use your own bag or take the products out of the store without a bag. i think i was nearly arrested for attempting such a green act. they claimed they were simply trying to thwart shoplifters and maintain security by forcing you to take their bag. I%26#039;m pretty sure all places and stores will let you bring your own bag, i mean i can%26#039;t think why not! Some grocrey stores will even give you a credit amount for if you bring your own bag to the store! You can use reusable bags for shopping and anything you want! It%26#039;s a great way to stop using so much plastic! Go for it!

welll...if there is a sams club or hanaford near where you live i know that they let you use your own bags( hanaford even takes off 5cents from your purchase for each bag you bring)
but...depending where you live, i would recomending just bringing bags places and just asking thee cashier(im sure they%26#039;ld let you

You should be able to bring your own bags where ever you go. If a store doen%26#039;t let you use them though, then I would not go to that location any more, unless thats is the only one in the area. Some places may hastle you, as a security thing. 0% 0 Votes

We always bring our reusable bags anywhere that we go shopping. Sometimes we get some unusual looks, but as more and more people use them, the value of not using plastics is becoming well known. Personal use. 2% 1 Vote

I haven%26#039;t found any place that won%26#039;t allow me to use my own bags.. I keep them in the car, so I always have them w/ me, and I use them everywhere that I go. 2% 1 Vote

I think Krogers sells their own reusable shopping bags. I wash and re-use zip lock bags as long as they weren%26#039;t used for storing meat or anything greasy. THINK GREEN 0% 0 Votes
