Does suncreen contribute to cancer? I know we%26#039;re told to slather down in sunscreen before going outside, getting in our car,%26amp; just to use it every day no matter what. It%26#039;s in our makeup,lotions,etc.I%26#039;ve never used sunscreen on my kids. One is fair skinned %26amp; wears shirts %26amp; a hat when in the pool/beach.The other is darker/olive skinned like her dad.Based on some research I did years ago, there are some scientists that think sunscreen is not as helpful as we%26#039;re being told. Now I%26#039;m wondering if my suspicions have been right all along.Does anyone know where I can get some scientific data on whether conventional sunscreens may contribute to some cancers?I know using sunscreen prevents vitamin D from being absorbed which we definitely need.I struggle with this daily, having 2 kids %26amp; living in Florida.I doubt myself as to weather to use or not use sunscreen.I do have 1 sunblock that has no chemicals that we use sometimes, but everyone around me makes me feel irresponsible for not using traditional sunsreen.is there any proof?
