Eco-friendly/%26quot;green%26quot; gift tips? One of my best friends is turning 24 this week, and she doesn%26#039;t really need anything. She has been working really hard at going green lately: taking classes, using more efficient things around the house, and not eating meat in addition.

I wanted to get a gift to honor her efforts. Like, planting a tree in her name, or adopting an animal or something like that. Anyone know any good sites for that?

One of my favourite ideas for a green gift is an e-voucher from Green Metropolis which is a website dedicated to recycling books. For every book sold they donate money to the Woodland trust.
