Free wind turbine plans i would like to build a power producing wind turbine to run my room off of (just to help tack away the pain of a 100$ a mounth power bill) i dont use mutch power so i think a small scale wind turbine should do the trick all fine and dandy but i would like to have plans for somthing this magor but there isent anything freenot that i wouldent pay 5$ for plans but im only 16 and i dont want to buy plans and find out i cant mack it because lack of nologe or skills and i dont want to wait a week for them i want to start today

well first u will need a good size electrik motor, (yes, motors and generators are close to same thing, then will need a good fan/propeller, a storage battery(get a good size one), a strong shaft, and a DC current to AC current inverter. set up the shaft with the motor mounted on top with it facing into the wind. put the propeller on the motor shaft. run good sized wires from motor to storage battery, then route the energy from battery to inverter to the breaker that goes to your room and turn her on! if ye need more specific instruction, IM me at johnbacktun@yahoo.com years of electric tinkering and some classes
