I checked some websites like greendisk.com, but they want me to pay them for the service and also i have to pay for shipping.
Is there any way I can recycle this for free?
Thanks in advance

Take them to a used CD/Record shop. They%26#039;ll even give you a few dollars for them. You%26#039;ll be recycling the music into someone else%26#039;s ears!

If there%26#039;s any charitable causes you feel strongly about, they%26#039;ve probably got charity shops that would welcome your stuff to sell.
Whenever I gather a lot of stuff I don%26#039;t need anymore but that%26#039;s worth something to someone, I have a car boot sale and donate the money to my local animal shelter. 0% 0 Votes -
Make stuff out of them. One of the clocks in the room I%26#039;m sitting in has a face consisting of the shiny side of an old AOL disk. Just add a clock mechanism and some stickers to denote the hours.
I%26#039;ve also heard of mobiles and mosaics made of cd%26#039;s. Use your imagination. Need coasters? 0% 0 Votes -
If you have any fruit trees and want to keep birds away, you just drill a hole in the top of the CD, run some string through it and tie it to a limb so it will spin in the wind...the flashing keeps birds away!

www.freecycle.org.
I just found out about freecycling a couple of weeks ago. And just this week,I have been able to help two people out and have been helped out myself. It%26#039;s an awesome way to get rid of things that you no longer want or need. I wish I had heard about it sooner. You never know who you might be able to help.

You can take them to a HALF PRICED BOOKS, EXCHANGE or other buy back location and get a little bit of money for them OR you can POST them on FREECYCLE.ORG and someone else can enjoy them for FREE ! It beats just throwing them away !

You could try donating them to your local library, or if you have a used book store in your neighborhood, they might accept them......or you could donate them to a local Senior Center, etc.....
