How can a place like Dubai conserve energy? Years ago, Europe dicided to descourage private automobiles and encourage mass transit by making gasoline expensive. What changes would Dubai have to make to achieve the same result?

Arabs love cars.. with all that money in Dubai I don%26#039;t think mass transit would be as effective... I think the best way is to have strict government mandate on emission and give tax/tariff breaks on hybrid and cars that run on alternative fuel. 0% 0 Votes

use solar energy to run their air conditioning - with guaranteed sunshine this is not a problem but petrol is too cheap there.... 0% 0 Votes
