Here are some more tips:
1 Ask the grounds crew to use natural herbicides and pesticides.
2 Create paper, plastic, and aluminum recycling centers near waste bins.
3 Switch to CFLs
4 Expose children to natural light
5 Serve organic food in the cafeteria whenever possible
6 Eliminate waste, such as Styrofoam

Have them get a can of green paint and paint it. I drive my Hummer 100,000 miles annually. I took it to Earl Sheib two years ago and had it painted bright green. I now have the greenest car on the block. I have started taking my Hummer everyplace to promote being green. So far I have had several hundred people join me in going green by painting their house. One guy two blocks from my house even used a 1950 can of lead paint to paint his. This shows what we all can do if we really want to become green. I also buy hundreds of the old fashioned light bulbs and give them a green tint. People are buying these from me at about a hundred a day. They are cheaper then the new bulbs found at so called environmental stores which are not even green. I have the greenest lawn on the block. I use pesticides to clear up the weeds and of course water it several times a day. My neighbor is a hypocrite who claims to be green but he has a blue house and no lawn, and drives a brown Prius. Some people I guess just don%26#039;t care about the environment I guess.
I put green food coloring in my green plastic water bottles. My neighbor uses regular tap water. I told him he needs to get with the green program to save the Earth but he acts as if he does not care. I even offered to use some of my other neighbor%26#039;s left over green leaded paint and he looked at me with a funny face. I tried to explain how going green would protect the world from global warming. I found out latr he does not even use his air conditioner. I at least try to help keep the earth cool by running mine 24 hours a day 7 days a week. I explained to hime that the cost was a small price to pay to try to keep the Earth cool. Try to get recycling bins in the cafeteria for plastic and glass bottles.

If the lunch line uses trays that you throughout, get them to switch to ones they wash.
