like the only expensive item of style that i want is like the all-star shoes? converse, i think its called, and i like the brown ones, kinda neutral color, is there a good place in the city that sells those shoes at a reasonable price? I also reside in the city, but everywhere i go seems soo expensive!, :P

You could buy new clothes, but why not try %26quot;vintage%26quot;. Thrift stores in San Fran. have really great finds and you will save a ton of money. You will also be helping to close the recycling circle. Reducing the amount of water,etc. used to make new clothes, reusing older clothes (and being way stylish doing it!), and possibly recycling some thing older into a new style. My I suggest, if you are not handy with thread and needle or with how to put together a look on your own, that you take a fashionista gal pal with you.
