How can you make an eco-friendly odor-eliminating spray? That you can spray out of a spray bottle? It%26#039;s for my cat%26#039;s litterbox, puting baking soda in there does not work only the spray-type odor-eater stuff in those spraycans(like air freshener but meant for litterboxes..) but those obviously aren%26#039;t eco friendly.

You can mix essential oils and water or rubbing alcohol to use as an air freshener. Just make sure the oil you chose is kitty-friendly. It won%26#039;t be an absorber, but combined with the baking soda it will help.

You can also make a satchel of fragrant spices or flowers in cheesecloth and store it in the baking soda for about a week before use to give it a nice scent and a little more odor correcting power.

  • Better still, get rid of your filthy cat. The first pre-requisite of a housepet should be, that it dosn%26#039;t do its business indoors.
Get a proper pet, like a pitbull, that can earn its keep, and is happy to shi* outside, and dosn%26#039;t piss in your plantpots.
  • I%26#039;m not sure, but thank you for keeping your cat indoors, I wish other cat owners were as considerate. I don%26#039;t own a cat, so I shouldn%26#039;t have to scoop cat poop from my garden in my back yard.
  • Boil water with some mint leaves (the more, the better). Then use it in your sprayer.
