A baby is created when the egg from a female is fertilized by sperm from a male. This is the same with all animals.
When the male%26#039;s penis is fully erect, he inserts it into the woman%26#039;s vagina. By partially removing it, and re-inserting it, the penis is stimulated to the point that the sperm is ejaculated into the woman.
The sperm then swim upward to the woman%26#039;s uterus. If this is done when the woman is fertile (which usually happens only once a month), the sperm will find a ready egg. Except in very unusual cases, a single sperm will enter the egg to fertilize it.
From there, a single cell will split into two...Then the two each split, creating four cells. The process continues until there are enough cells that they can begin specializing to become particular body parts (some will be nose cells, some will be finger cells, etc.).
