Very good question. I would say that each person is using twice the energy they would be using if they stayed home and turned off all of their power to view the live broadcast of this event. (Sarcasm) The TV stations in Chicago are planning on broadcasting live coverage of the power going off across the city. But if the power is off, then who will have their TV on to view this live broadcast?Maybe we can have some celebrities fly in on their private jets with 3 pilots, and two people on their overpaid butts in the back for publicity.

A good question!If every one utilises homelyuse like broadcasst, tv stations , the city power supplies go down.Those who cn affordcn goout by flights etc.The LIGHTS IN CITY WILL GO OFF.
