I don%26#039;t understand this, please tell me?
Why don%26#039;t people recycle? I don%26#039;t men hard core recycling, such as digging through other peoples trash to collect bottles. I mean just when you have an empty bottle or can why can%26#039;t you just put it into the recycling bin, or get a bin for recycling. Is it because people don%26#039;t care, or are they just lazy? If one of u ppl who may answer, don%26#039;t recycle, please tell me why.

I personally recycle as well as my family but from my discussion with people who do not, it seems as if they just don%26#039;t see the point of recycling if not everyone is going to do it. Such a stupid reasoning I know but these people really do need to get penalised for thinking like that!

I recycle. Two reasons I noticed why people do not recycle:
1. Lazy. It%26#039;s too much effort to separate newspapers, glass, and cans. There needs to be more of an incentive.
2. Communication. Often there is a lack of communication on how, when and what you can recycle. There needs to be more than sending out a flier once a year.

Until recently I didn%26#039;t recycle because it was so unconvenient in my area. We don%26#039;t have trucks to come pick up recyclables, so we would have to take all of them 45 minutes into to the next town to have them recycled. Now i%26#039;m getting my school to do a more extensive recycling progam with plastics(all possible), cans, all homework papers, newspapers, and magazines, maybe even glass. Most people don%26#039;t recycle either because %26quot;its too hard%26quot;, or there is just no place to recycle in their area.

Lazy seems to be the best answer. Survey after survey and no matter how environmentally informed the population is there just seems to be a complete lack of or willingness to do their part or be responsible.

i don%26#039;t recycle
because the recyle bin is a trash can
the trash goes to dumpsite
dumpsite is a place for recycling
it creates job
job creates money
money creates life
if you have money you die
if you die they bury you and they don%26#039;t make your bone as
toothpaste
when u are burried plants grow
when plants grow there is oxygen
thats the way it is

We recycle, mostly. Its not a problem Glass and plastics. Some other items are more difficult like batteries, it takes a special trip. Making it easier and curb pickup would be good to get us to some standards in Europe, where, everything is recycled.

Recycling is an average means of reducing our impact on the earth. the best way is to reduce the initial impact that we have. Recycling is an after the fact way to try and make up for taking too much out of the environment. the best way to help is to take preemptive action and not create products that are so inefficient in terms of resources.

I don%26#039;t recycle because our local waste management company sorts and separates all the glass, metal, card board and then they resell these items to help pay the expenses of the sorting. In my area they hired a local organization for people with special needs and they provide good paying jobs for there clients. These people are so happy to have a good job that helps them support them selves that they show up for work early each day .

I don%26#039;t recycle, but I%26#039;m not proud of it. I asked my mom if we could, but she hasn%26#039;t contacted anyone about it yet. I also want to get one of those cloth bags that you%26#039;re supposed to reuse over and over again. But people, please don%26#039;t associate people who don%26#039;t recycle with people who are lazy. Where I used to live, my mom called a recycling place to find out where we could find recycling bins, and they were delivered. But then when we put it out on the street no one picked it up. We lived in such a rural area that there was NO ONE to pick up recycling bins. And there are people who are busy 24/7 and literally DON%26#039;T HAVE TIME to sort their trash. I%26#039;m looking into recycling, but don%26#039;t accuse people who don%26#039;t recycle with being lazy. Hope I helped.
