I%26#039;m a little extreme with this, we keep our house in the winter at 65 and in the summer its is 78. My husband is friends with HVAC guys and they tell me this is bad because the unit does not get to do a full cycle and it is powering on and off too much to be good for the unit or electric bill but I don%26#039;t believe him and feel that our unit cycles a whole lot less than our neighbors.

In the frozen parts of America I see that most stores %26amp; homes are 65* in the summer, 90* in the winter. Whaz up with that ?
