In my opinion we have a long way to go before we can consider America a green country. Is it more important to conserve water or to recycle?
so, sometimes I have dishes from microwavable meals that can be recycled if I rinse them out with water. Usually, it takes a lot of water to get all the food out, so I%26#039;m wondering, is it more important to recycle, thus using more water, or is it more important to conserve water, thus not recycling?

That depends on the area you live in. I live in the north east where water is aplenty. I recycle faithfully, but I also don%26#039;t waste water. Both water and the earth a precious resources that need to be considered.

This was a hardish one for me. But after a long and hard time thinking about it, I am going to have to go with recycling. because land fills are being filled up with our trash that we choose not to recycle for what ever reson. And your microwavable dishes are better off being recycled than just being left in the trash, even if you are you are going to have to use so effort and rinse them out. Well I hope this information is handy with your question!

Do both. Instead of running the dish under water until all the food comes up, put soap on a sponge, scrub the dish, and wipe off the soap with a dish towel.

You can do both, I rinse my recyclables in dirty water. I fill the sink when I%26#039;m washing other things, I just put the plastics or cans in the water when I%26#039;m done.
