l dont want to kill them thats why l was looking for something natural.l hear that you can use pepper and l was just wondering if their was something else you may know of.
the reason l have issues with rats is l have cages out side l use cinnimon for some pests and works but not for rodents and l do clean and pressure wash cage and area even disinfect my birds bowls eveyday and l do have a cat that kills them but l%26#039;m looking for a better solution cause the field behind my house is a mall of rodents...

The best way to get rid of them is to not have a reason for them to be there. I%26#039;m assuming the connection between your birds and the mice would be the food. Store it in an airtight container that they can%26#039;t get into.
There are a few commercial repellents available - the active ingredients are lemongrass, citrus oil, or peppermint oil.
Stuff steel wool and/or dryer sheets in places where they can get into the house. -
Cats and some dogs.And why would you not want to kill them?Some animals are born prolific simply because they are a main food source for certain animals.You can not change the course of nature in the hopes of being%26quot;green%26quot; it simply will not work.The Bible says %26quot;and they shall be educated fools%26quot;I now understand exactly what that means.The more I learn about the subject the more I realize in the end of it we will lose our human status simply in order to survive at all.

By natural do you mean one that grows in nature? Believe it or not, arsenic grows naturally in many places in the world. But that will kill them. Moth balls might help, I have heard they keep mice away, but I don%26#039;t think they are natural.
