there is LOTS of grant money available for solar panles, batteries adn inverters, most funded thru the Dept of Energy or even the Department of Agriculture........just be prepared:

a typical one bedroom house that needs heating and cooling will cost 10,000 minimum to around 20,000 US$ to get off the grid converting 75 apartments in ST Thomas to use solar/wind to PARTIALLY reduce grid use 33% 1 Vote
