No room for more landfills? And that is the only problem? What is the problem with landfills right now? I know that we create a bunch of junk that is unnecessary and stuff it in a lined hole in the ground even though some of it could be recycled or could have been composted...

But what about landfills? They are sealed up good, aren%26#039;t they? So they can%26#039;t leak?? And they are covered over and turned into golf courses or parks and deemed safe.... This certainly can%26#039;t go on until the %26#039;end of time%26#039; but are there a lot of dangers with them?

but the lining is suppose to protect against the chemicals ever doing damage.. and they can supposedly be opened up later if a better means of disposal or %26#039;landfill mining%26#039; can be used. and it doesn%26#039;t create the poisons that incineration does.. soo.. ??

Yes their are lots of dangers with them. Some of the dangers are hazardous chemicals, toxic waste, and certain pieces of garbage that won%26#039;t %26quot;break down%26quot; and could cause serious problems. 14% 1 Vote
