Plastic carrier bags???? I%26#039;m all for saving the planet, but must admit, I DO sometimes forget to bring my own bags. I don%26#039;t mind paying for a plastic carrier, but I do think the shops have got a nerve selling me a bag with the shops logo printed all over it. Why should I pay 5p, and walk around advertising their store for them???? Anyone else feel it%26#039;s a cheek, and will demand plain white bags????

I agree totally. But, science has an answer, It involves the use of an additive which make the plastic %26quot;totally degradeable%26quot;.
Totally harmless to the enviornment and does not emit methane while sitting in the land fills. Totally recycleable and the plastic does not loose any of its properties.

i completely agree, but thankfuly we live in a capitilist society, so I will not go to any shop that charges me for bags, if enough people do that supermarkets will have to give them for free again. 20% 1 Vote

I think it is stupid charging you for carrier bags, i wouldnt mind paying for a plain one or a paper bag. I agree with you, why do we have to advertise their store or company..... 20% 1 Vote
