yes they can. Contact your local prosthetic department at your rehab centre and ask about programs to recycle or re-use old part.
Sometimes donated parts can be refurbished and used in the community. Other times they can be fixed up and sent to third world countries. amputee 15 years -
when i go hunting i sometimes have to re-arm
