Question about Chesapeake energy? I live in Texas and I recently found out Chesapeake energy might be interested in drilling in my county. Do I have to have a certain kind of mineral on my land? What do I do to go about finding this out if so?

Chesapeake, stock symbol CHK, is the largest independent driller for natural gas in the U.S. 100% 1 Vote

  • No, normally land is sold without the mineral rights. Just wait until an offer is made, then investigate since it may cost money to find out for sure. 0% 0 Votes
