Recycled tires? Well, for the summer my global warming club at school wants us to be involved in making a difference in our community or something and my teacher said to brainstorm ideas. I was thinking of what I could do with recycled tires. Could I maybe make them into bracelets or something and sell them to raise money for something energy efficient at school? I%26#039;m not sure what this would take to do or if this is even a good idea. Can anyone tell me if this is a good idea and how I could get started if it is? Any other suggestions are welcome.

My dad works at a garbage place where they get tons of tires. They do turn some into playground mulch and sell some, but he told me that they burn the rest. Do you think I could get my hands on some of those tires, my dad is friends with the owner of the company? I think it would be cool if I convinced him to turn all of his leftover tires into something like a company that makes products out of the tires. He%26#039;s got the money, that%26#039;s for sure. 0% 0 Votes

  • When I was in school - I took a few tires and converted them into door mats. Accomplished this by creating strips of tire and then weaving them together. It wasn%26#039;t easy but the end product was worth it. Good luck! :) 0% 0 Votes
