Recycling Rules for......? Ok, so my pen pal needs to find the recycling rules for her city. She has been bugging me about this for a super long time, and i decided to just ask the question on here. She needs to know if THE GARABAGE COMPANY WILL PICK UP THE RECYCLABLES. OR IF SHE HAS TO TAKE THEM SOMEWHERE.

You will have to contact the garbage company. Look in the phone book there should be a section in the front with blue edges, you will find goverment agencies listed by state, county and city. Go to the city section and look for Solid Waste Department, call them and ask.

• Well, it depends on where you live, my phone book out here in the sticks doesn%26#039;t have that government section. However, you can just look up under waste management and find the name of your trash company there. You will have to call them directly unless they have a website to find out what the recycling rules are for your own city or your pen pals. I live in the sticks of Missouri and we do not have any recycling offered by the trash company. They do not pick up cans or glass or plastic or anything like that. If I want to pay them they will pick up things like old furniture and mattresses and TV%26#039;s right from my house. But like I have an air conditioner here that is no good and not only do I have to pay them, I have to deliver it to there place of business. So different rules apply in different places.
