Recycling textbooks? I am a college student and I have some out of date textbooks that the university would not buy back. They also did not have any information on where to send them for recycling. I felt bad about throwing them away so I held on to them. How can I recycle out of date text books? Would a regular paper recycling plant accept them? One is a hard cover while the other is paperback...if that helps. . You never know, there may be somebody in your community that would be interested in them. 29% 2 Votes http://www.abebooks.com/docs/Textbooks/, http://www.textbookx.com/?SiteID=W%2AfRY... http://www.textbookrecycling.com/buyback... 0% 0 Votes for an extremely low price. Someone is bound to buy them, you get rid of the books, and maybe make some money off of the deal. 14% 1 Vote
