  Only if you have no other means of getting to work. You might look into public transportation available in your area, the possibility of carpooling with coworkers or employees at nearby businesses, or even walking or biking to work.
  This counts double if your city, like mine, is under an Ozone alert that day. The health issues affect many in the city.
  
  Because there%26#039;s so much intrinsic cost in producing a vehicle, I wouldn%26#039;t recommend you trade your car in for a more efficient, smaller one until you were going to anyway. Let it run its course, then try something else.
