• I%26#039;m not sure about the expense, but several companies make commercial ice machines (some are on ebay) that can produce 250 pounds per day. A google search showed several companies, especially in the Chicago area, that build very large units for hotels, restaurants, etc. IF enough panels could be put together you could run the machine from an inverter. Better yet, charge a battery bank, then make the ice at night when the temp drops substantially. Good luck with your idea. 0% 0 Votes
