I looked at their website, and they are working on a solar thermal energy system in California. They use mirrors to focus the suns energy onto a single point and converts it into intense heat to run turbines.The laws of the conservation of energy states that energy cannot be created nor destroyed, it just changes form.
Solar energy is turned into heat energy, and that heat energy in turned into mechanical energy by boiling water. This boiled water then becomes steam that runs a turbine which powers an electric generator. 80% 4 Votes
