Tom%26#039;s of Maine is owned by Colgate-Palmolive (since 2006).? However, the packaging for their products still reads %26quot;Copyright 2005, Tom%26#039;s of Maine%26quot; (no reference to Colgate at all...).
When will this be updated, and why hasn%26#039;t it been yet? Is it just a backlog of pre-merger toothpaste tubes??

Maybe Colgate realizes that it%26#039;s in their best interest to keep their name off the product. I%26#039;m not sure of how that would work, legally. But, in my opinion, the consumers who would purchase Tom%26#039;s of Maine products would not want their money going to Colgate. 67% 4 Votes
