What Can You Recycle At Home? I recycle my own paper, kind of messy but it helps, but i was wondering if there is anything else i can recycle aswell that will cut down on our waste, like plastic bottles and sweet wrappers.
This is probably a very stupid question but i was just curious. will help you stop having to toss plastic which typically incinerated, even when you think you are recycling. Moreover, you can use waxed paper bags instead of ziploc bags for wrapping food, and the wax paper--as well as any non-plastic coated food paper can be composted. We keep a mini %26quot;worm farm%26quot; in our backyard that eats all of our food scraps and food-covered paper. Keeping your refuse as close to you as possible will also serve to make you aware of what you are purchasing and why. http://www.kleankanteen.com/

To your present paper RECYCLE Add junk mail, fold empty boxes up, toilet paper and paper towel rolls, too. You would be amazed how much paper you get with packaging like instructions, boxes, inserts etc. It can all go into your paper recycle.

BUT at home you can do more than just paper--of course you can recycle bottles, cans, plastic bottles and containers if your town collects them.

Reusing is another way to cut down. You can reuse shopping bags...plastic sandwich bags (as long as they didn%26#039;t hold meat) etc.

Each time you toss trash think about it...you will be amazed at what ideas you might come up with! http://www.planetpals.com
