  Or go to a local church and get them to help her with her heating bill.
  My grandma had to do that a few times.(And they were glad to help.)

• the companies should just forgive part of the bill I think. Or they do have energy assistant programs to help out , check with your local utility company. buy and electric space heater. Have granny stay with you during the coldest months.
