What are some environmentally-safe brand name soaps? Since discovering that Dove soap uses Palm Oil (an ingredient that destroys thousands of palm trees), I have been researching to find a bath soap to replace Dove. I used to use Aveda because I like their soap but it’s expensive. If I have to, I’ll use it but I’m curious if anyone knows of some other brand name soaps (the kind you an get in a drug store or supermarket) that are Environmentally-safe? I know there are a ton of them that are not brand name-wise but I’d prefer to make my life a little simpler while helping the environment, ya know?

I like Doc Bronner%26#039;s soap, especially the lavender, but they also make an unscented.

The ingredients are: organic olive and coconut oil, organic hemp and jojoba oil, citric acid, and Vitamin E. 100% 1 Vote

  • I dropped in to get the suggestions - but I was thinking of laundry soap. (Generally use Cheer Free or Arm %26amp; Hammer because they work %26amp; I%26#039;m not allergic.) Dr. Bronner%26#039;s is excellent as body soap, and it%26#039;s a lot of fun to read while parked in the bathroom...and it%26#039;s also available in an array of fragrances (originally only one) at your favorite organic grocery/health store. 0% 0 Votes
