* Reduce the thermostat to a low temperature in winter and a high temperature in summer (to avoid using the heater and AC as much as possible)* Open the curtains and use the sunlight and switch off the artificial lights

check your exterior wall outlets for leaks. you can buy insulators for them. turn off water when not using it, like to shave, brush teeth, wash hands;dishes. make sure the storm windows are shut . chaulk around windows,doors
