Hi this is not the right place for this.Mono-cristalline silicone is highly suited for solar cells and has a much higher efficiency than polycrystalline ones.
Try googling instead. There are plenty of academic reports about it.
Off course the silicon has to be doted with polarizing agents with a diffusion and get collectors etc...
