Carbon paper is very useful, I would say store it for a time you need it, weather it be copying a letter, or transfering a drawing. Prison and internetOther Answers (9)

While nobody uses typewriters any more, and that would have been a traditional use for carbon paper, you might find it handy if you want to write something out and make a copy without going to a copy machine or using the very expensive ink cartridge on your copier-printer.
You can always trim the papers down to size to use them on memo pads or similar tablets for handwritten notes.
A lot depends on how much carbon paper is in the box. If it%26#039;s a lot you might look into school donations or donations to churches or civic organizations. Last resort--the chemicals in carbon paper might be useful for starting a fire if you have a fireplace.
If all else fails a local museum might like having it for a display item.
They could display it next to a typewriter.

Save it for little visitors and show them the magic of carbon paper...they may never have another opportunity. My kids thought it was the greatest invention, to write on the carbon paper and have it show up on a piece of white paper, the either color with crayon or their watercolors.
