What can i do to help the enviornment? i am 13 and i really want to help the enviornment but i dont know how! my mom says to take shorter showers but i only take like 5 minute ones now (usually cause i wake up late :]) we have compact florecent bulbs my mom turns the heat / a/c off when it dosent have to be on and she turns it low or high (but usally just for money!) and she always makes fun of me for trying to help the enviornment cause she says i leave lights on and stuff i try try to turn them off but i forget do u have any other ways to help???? also my mom dosent want to get recycling cause it costs too much but my school has it should i collect stuff in a bag and bring it to my school to recycle or would that be weird? also is there anything i can do to get my friends to join me? i cant go vegetarian cause i like meat and its too hard lol i just really want to help can u gimmme some ideas please?? and remember im only 13! thank you so so much

HI! You can go to Yahoo groups .com and you can start a community recycling group in which you would be the moderator. You would save your town lots of money by spreading this website to the community and getting them to offer their recyclables to others for free and keeping the dump free of tons of reuseable things.
