I think Solar, Wind, Water and Methane are much better ideas.

I think that the people who are claiming that it is safe should live next door to one of those plants and wait for a melt down. are the really ignorant enough to think that our government is properly enforcing the waste management at those plants. if nuclear energy is safe %26amp; does not pollute our earth, then why do they transport the waste products from the plants 1/2 way across the country to dispose of it %26amp; why do they mark the waste as HAZARDOUS! if it were truly safe then why don%26#039;t they simply dump the waste into our water supplies or better yet... spray it on our crops. maybe those of you who think it%26#039;s safe should try eating or drinking a spoonful of the TOXIC WASTE that nuclear energy creates!
