This website say that it%26#039;s better if we turn off the switch on the surge to save energy #8. But doesn%26#039;t that actually hurt the computer because you might need it back up and running. It%26#039;s like you sleep for 5 minutes then someone wake you up for no reason. So any electronic expert/ computer expert can give me some input to this. Thanks

they are saying that before you go to bed or when you leave the house for more than a few hours, you should shut down your computer and unplug it- not every time you walk away from it - that would be wastefull.
