U know fossil fuel is gonna end soon so we do have to think about sth else like the energy of sun which is completely suitable even for futures .of course the use of this kind of energy is dependent upon technology progress.Another thing we have to be careful about is the cost effectiveness of fuels.About the cars solar energy will be the first fuel for the car rather than oil and gasoline.

Today? Gasoline.
Five years from now short of a major break through in some technology? Gasoline.
Thirty years from now short of some majot break through? Gasoline.
By the way - the US has at least a 100 year supply of oil and 250 year supply of coal that we are letting sit in the ground right now.

I know this is a little out there, but I say vegetable oil from nearby restaurants. I don%26#039;t know what I was watching, but these two guys made there van run on vegetable oil and they got really far. I%26#039;d say if we started using that gas prices would go way down and it would be alot more affordable and environment friendly.Just imagine it, driving down the street and everything smells like Chinese food, yummy!

Natural gas (methane)! Such cars already exist (I own 2 of them), and they are way cheaper than gasoline, plus better for the environment. Ford made them until 2004, and I wish they%26#039;d start up making them again. The USA has lots of natural gas of its own, by the way, so we aren%26#039;t putting money in the pockets of terrorists by using it. Look into it; it%26#039;s a great alternative fuel, and it%26#039;s already here!

i think that solar is the best. when you buy it its a little it expensiver, but its soooo worth it. your car will work day and night because it runs off of the energy of the sun, i dont get how it still works at night, but it does.

Have you ever watched the Flintstones? Fred uses his feet. Wow, imagine that! Who would%26#039;ve thought we could use our feet to move around town!
Cars are only a little over a hundred years old- we shouldn%26#039;t have become so dependent.

Electricity - since it can be produced from a variety of sources - coal, natural gas, nuclear, wind, and solar.

Liposuction fat, I Think if you add some chemicals to it you can use it as diesel fuel.
If we could make use of this resource we would never have a shortage

Nuclear as soon as they can get the reactor and steam engine small enough with efficiency.
