What is the effects of Solar Energy on the environment?

Best Answer - Chosen by Voters

Actually it depends on the type of Solar Energy.

Generally speaking, there are two type of Solar Energy.

1. Solar Panel (Solar to electric). It doesn%26#039;t generate any pollution. However the manufacturing process of making Solar Panel generates a lot of pollution and takes a lot of energy to clean it up.

2. Solar Thermal. The thermal energy are used. Large mirrors are built and solar energy are being focused on a steam tower where water are heated up to 1000 degree and boils to steam. The steam then turns the steam turbine and generates electricity. It is clean. However, it uses a large amount of water.

But in comparison with other forms of energy generation, it uses far less resources. 67% 4 Votes
