Where or how can I dispose of batteries like Energizer? My father throws them away hastily, even after I remind him its illegal and harmful to the environment. But my problem is: I keep old batteries (Mostly AA%26#039;s, and a small disk like batteries) in a place other than the trash, but how do I get rid of them? So I want to lose them without just hoarding them, knowing they%26#039;ll never come out.

• Call your town/city hall. They may host recycling events during the year (1 or 2 times). There is a special double lined plastic bucket that is designed specially for battery disposal. They are expensive for us to buy. 25% 1 Vote

• Alkaline batteries don%26#039;t get recycled, they only recycle special kinds. Energizers or Duracells don%26#039;t have any harmful chemicals in them so they can just go into your normal trash. 25% 1 Vote
