Who is going to participate in Earth Hour? Earth Hour is an event to conserve energy. The event takes place March 29 (today) from 8pm-9pm. Everyone is supposed to shut off their lights and excess appliances for that hour.

All the lights are out, and I%26#039;m using a torch.

I made a little tent, out of old blankets and stuff.

My friends came round to, and we took snacks inside the tent, like chocies!

Good for you. It was my friend%26#039;s 16th birthday party, and we turned off all of the lights and just had a good time. We played with candles, lit the carpet on fire for a second, and then made music with water glasses...lol.

• Not a good idea. Let%26#039;s say, everybody in the world did this. Then, we%26#039;re just delaying the inevitable by an hour, and at the same time, wasting money, production, and enjoyment during that hour of no electricity. Also, crime (robbery and rape) will increase during this time, as hooligans will take advantage of the dark and disabled security systems.
