Its simple, in future we will end up exausting fossil fuel and Bio fuels will be too costly - out of reach for acommon man. That leaves no options but to use solar car - I am only afried that the governments would start taxing the usage of solar energy !50% 2 Votes

B%26#039;coz it%26#039;s the best alternative of car run by diesel and petrol, etc., which is one of the most disastrous cause of evironmental (air) pollution, the modern generation is facing today. Solar Car would definitley be much cheaper in comparsion of diesel/ petrol cars. We can utilize money [which we spend for buying pertol/ diesel) in other economic growth of our nation/ whole world.
Main source of solar energy is the Sun.

Because Fossil fuel is going to be finished!!! We need a renewable energy source and sunlight is the best source of renewable energy.
If we start using Solar energy from today then the using rate of fossil fuel will decrease and our preservation of fossil fuel will last longer.

Bcoz, the earth is holding its breath. It can leave its breath at any moment of time due to pollution. Its better if we quickly try and find some methods of transportation which will cause less/no pollution.

We DONT need solar cars.If anything, we need a substitute of fossil fuels that can be used when we run out of oil.A solar car is expensive.How will the masses and poor afford such vehicles?
