Back in the 60%26#039;s we used to have wonderfully colourful carrier bags, and as teenagers we used to see who could get hold of the most psychedelic one. They are more environmentally friendly, and just as strong. People are wrong that say they are not biodegradable. Most are now. I know that Somerfield and the Co-op issue bags that begin to degrade in a month or so, outside. I left one in my greenhouse and it just dissolved into almost nothing. Why the bloody green twits won%26#039;t bugger off and let us live our lives as we want is a moot point. Whatever we do in this country(UK) will make no difference in any way whatsoever, it%26#039;s all balls. By the way, I burn mine and all the plastic and paper. I recycle nothing.
