Will I go to Hell for killing so many pigeon? I just love all kinda animals and I%26#039;ve been having cats for ages . but I did something awful few years before . I am absolutely sorry for that , and I can%26#039;t forgive myself easily . in the summer of 2002 I killed so many (maybe about 50 or something) pigeons and sparrows by my gun . I actually was feeling so much sorry for skinny hungry stray cats and kittens of the neighborhood and I had no money for feeding so many hungry cats , so I decided to feed wild birds to them . now I%26#039;m feeling so regretted for killing so many birds viciously . each day I used to kill at least one or two feeding them to stray cats . do you think I%26#039;ll go to Hell ? what can I do for compensating that ? I don%26#039;t do that anymore and I%26#039;m so sorry ....

it%26#039;s ok man, they%26#039;re just birds. God will forgive you, especially when you have a need and you%26#039;re doing it to feed something you care about, it%26#039;s not a sin or anything. You%26#039;re not going to hell.

Pigeons are flying rats. They carry pests and diseases and are a general nuisance to the public. Cats have to eat too. I forgive you for killing these evil dive bombing flying rodents.

That%26#039;s crazy. Was it boredom, because it sure seems that way. The fact that you feel guilty is because it was so long ago. Didn%26#039;t you feel guilty after the first pigeon? Did it honestly take 50? Now, okay, I understand that they%26#039;re %26quot;rodents,%26quot; but you%26#039;re taking their lives to feed cats. Although you%26#039;re rationalizing, I have two cats and believe me, they are smart. There%26#039;s no reason to believe that if they were stray that they wouldn%26#039;t be able to feed themselves. Plus, a lot of people would feel sorry and feed them CAT FOOD or HAM... So instead of killing birds, you would%26#039;ve asked your parents or neighbors for $5 every now and them to go and buy some cat food, trust me, it%26#039;s not expensive.

Now, I doubt that you%26#039;ll go to hell for this, but don%26#039;t say that you just wanted to help because you were young and probably just wanted to handle a gun... Sorry for being harsh but would you kill a raccoon with your car so that a stray dog could eat?
